Geoff Ford

Geoff Ford was born in 1923 in Perranzabuloe, Cornwall.

Geoff studied at Cambridge University and served in Woorld War II as a pilot in the Royal Air Force.

From 1948 Geoff taught as a school teacher in Exeter, Devon, then migrated with his familly to Australia in 1958, retiring as a school principal at the end of 1986.

Geoff has been a designer and calligrapher for various handwriting books as well as a teaching video. He has also been a calligrapher and calligraphy teacher since 1985 and from 1992 an Heraldic artist and teacher.

Geoff retired from all teaching in 2002 but still runs the occcassional workshop on calligraphy and is a guild member of the Australian Society of Calligraphers and a craft member of the Society of Heralidic Arts (UK).
